Endorsing a plan manager: A guide
The PACE system is a new computer system that the NDIA has began implementing to create a better and more updated experience for both participants. We know that some of these processes may seem confusing, so in this guide we will walk you through this entire process so you can feel confident endorsing your provider!
If you are on the PACE system, you will have to endorse your plan manager. This means that you need to let the NDIA know who you are choosing to manage your NDIS plan.

Choosing your plan manager
You will need to first choose the plan manager that you would like to endorse. Choosing the right plan manager is a very important step in your NDIS journey as they can take a huge weight off your shoulders with the paperwork and administrative parts of your plan!

Once you have chosen the plan manager you would like to work with and have signed your service agreement with them, the last step is just to endorse them!
Preparing to endorse your plan manager
There is not much you need to do, as endorsing your plan manager is quite a straightforward process! However, some things to prepare and keep in mind include:
- Endorse Just Plan Managers as your plan manager, make sure your plan manager is not endorsed as a plan provider!
- Make sure your plan manager has provided you with their organisation ID or registration number as you will need to provide this information
- Use the start date of your plan as the start date of your endorsement as this ensures you can have all invoices processed from the beginning of your plan
- Let them know you would like this endorsement to be "ongoing", so you won't need to repeat the endorsement process if your plan is updated or rolled over!
Endorsing your plan manager
There are three different ways that you can endorse your plan manager. You can choose whichever one you feel most comfortable with. You will be asked to provide your NDIS number and our organisation ID in all of these options, so make sure you have that ready!
- Via your LAC/Planner: Your "My NDIS contact" is usually an LAC (Local Area Coordinator) or Planner. You can contact them directly to let them know that you would like to endorse us as your plan manager.
- Via the NDIA: You can call the NDIA directly on 1800 800 110 and let them know you would like to endorse us as your plan manager.
- Via your plan manager: We can call the NDIS and request to be endorsed. We will reach out to you to make sure that you are available before reaching out to an NDIS representative to let them know you would like us to be endorsed. We then need to add you to a conference call where the NDIS representative will ask you to give verbal consent to endorse us.
We recommend choosing option 1 or 2 as they are the easiest and most straightforward. Option 3 can sometimes have delays depending on how long it takes for us to get a hold of an NDIS representative, so you will need to ensure you are entirely free and standby your phone. However, if this option makes you feel the most comfortable, we would still be more than happy to proceed with it!
What to say during the endorsement
Here is a simple script for you to follow if you would like to endorse us as your plan manager:
Hello, my name is [your name].
I believe my plan is on the PACE system and I am calling to endorse a plan manager.
I am a [participant/nominee] and the NDIS number is [your NDIS number].
I would like to endorse Just Plan Managers as my plan manager. Their organisation ID is 4050038958.
Please endorse them from the start of my plan, which is [the starting date of your plan]. I would like for them to be endorsed as ongoing.
Can you please confirm that the endorsement is complete?
