How to switch your NDIS plan manager

A good NDIS plan manager does more than just pay your bills on time—they should also guide you in using your funding effectively, ensuring you’re neither overspending nor underspending. But what if you're not happy with your current plan manager? The good news is, you can switch plan managers at any time, and the process is simpler than you might think!

Here’s how to change your NDIS plan manager in just three simple steps.

3 Simple Steps to Change Your NDIS Plan Manager

  1. Choose Your New Plan Manager
    • The first step is deciding on your new plan manager. You have the freedom to choose a provider that best meets your needs, whether you're seeking more personalized support, better communication, or faster payment processing.
  2. Why Choose Just Plan Managers?
    • At Just Plan Managers, we offer a personalized approach, ensuring that you have direct access to a dedicated plan manager who understands your needs and is committed to providing exceptional service. Our Planability app also allows you to track your spending, claims, and service agreements 24/7, giving you peace of mind and control over your plan.
  3. Notify Your Current Plan Manager
    • Once you’ve decided on your new plan manager, you’ll need to inform your current plan manager of your decision to cancel their services. This can be done with a simple email, and no explanation is required. Legally, they cannot refuse your request to switch. This notification must be sent by you or an authorized representative.
    • If you’re switching to Just Plan Managers and have a new NDIS PACE plan, you’ll also need to notify the NDIA by calling 1800 800 110 and providing the following details:
      • Just Plan Managers Pty Ltd trading as Just Plan Managers
      • Provider#: [Insert Provider Number]
      • ABN: [Insert ABN]
  4. Complete the Service Agreement with Your New Plan Manager
    • After notifying your current plan manager, you’ll need to sign a service agreement with your new plan manager to officially start their services. Your new plan manager will help you through the transition process to ensure everything goes smoothly.
