Plan managers are a bit like NDIS accountants; it’s mostly about money and administration.

Sarah receives physiotherapy and support worker services. Her plan manager checks each invoice, pays the providers on her behalf, and lets her know if her Core budget is running low. Sarah doesn’t have to worry about paperwork or chasing payments.

James has just received his first NDIS plan. His support coordinator explains his funding categories, helps him find a psychologist and a support worker, and supports him to set up services that match his goals.

Having both can mean:

If you’re unsure what’s included in your plan or which support is right for you, getting clarity early can make a big difference in how confident you feel using your NDIS funding.
